Chongqing Transportaion

Chongqing is one of the five major cities in China. Transportation of this city is important because of its location along Yangtze River at the junction of Central and Southwestern China.. Travellers can reach this city by air, long distance buses and by trains. The city has three airports but Jiangbei International Airport is the largest and busiest one holding IATA Code as CKG. The airport serves 83 local and 37 international destinations. City downtown is 13 km away from airport from where the airport is connected by shuttle bus and subway line. Train network of China is now well developed and has latest facilities. The city serves around 140 scheduled trains through the railway hub enabling the passengers to reach all Chinese capital cities except Yinchuan which is capital of Ningxia. A train connects Tibet from here too.
